Hi guys, just getting my feet wet in the world of UDL, Linux, Kernels...etc.
With a tremendous amount of help from Darksky (ray) I have the beginnings of an install.
It was a 12.04LTS Ubuntu base. I had installed the Nvidia drivers for my 9800GT and was working good.
After doing the compile with UDLs kernel, my Nvidia drivers were trashed. I tried purging them and reinstalling but that didn't work.
What I'd like to know is if anyone else here is using Nvidia drivers with UDL's Kernel(s) and have you had any similar problems, or have any suggestions(other than getting another vid card..LOL!)
This may be a dumb newbie question, but, newbies need to learn..somehow.
Reason I ask here, is because at "ask ubuntu" site there are many posts of Nvidia driver issues that arise when the Kernel changes...they say you need to match the driver to the kernel, or something to that effect![]()
Thanks,
