I've been using a relatively new version of TSREADER on my Win-7 64bit computer for several months now, but just now started to notice something, and I'm not sure if it is a recent change, or has been this way since I started using this computer.
With my older computer, a Win XP-32 bit computer, and with my new Win-7-64 computer when running my PROF, in the top center window, you get info about whatever TS element you click on over at the left, provided that the info is in the stream. Like click on a PMT entry for a channel, and it you get info on that channel, click on NIT and you get whatever NIT info is available. Click on the PAT, and you get info about the mux (if available in the NIT), and info about the channels from the PMTs. An example below for what you see on a DN transponder when you click on the PAT.
I don't get anything in the top-center window when I click on PAT,or an NIT or SDT sub item, although if you click on SDT or NIT, it will tell you how many sub items. However the info was generally in the sub item, so you can't get the info from the stream.
As I said, I think that this is a recent thing, but I'm not sure. I _THINK_ that this didn't happen before I got the 6983 and put in new versions of the TSREADER TBS sources, and/or streamreader source. I'm pretty sure that the 6925 used to provide this info to TSREADER.
Anyway, I'm not sure if this is an issue with the TBS drivers, the TBS sources, or what, but there definitely seems to be a bug somewhere here. My guess is that it is the TBS drivers, since the TBS TSREADER source and the Crazycat streamreader proxy source do the same thing with the TBS devices, but works fine with the PROF source.
