Record from Titan TV?

In the old days I had a WinTV card that I could just click record in Titan TV, and it would schedule the recording for me. I had to set up scheduler in winxp to allow it to work, but it was fairly simple to do.

Is anyone doing that with the satellite cards? 
What software are you using, and how did you set it up?

I see a couple programs I would like to record now, and it would be nice to be able to do that with the TBS6925.
