Genpix -- which model?

I'm thinking about buying a Genpix to add to my hunting equipment

Was waiting for one to show up at a discount, but, not happening.

Genpix site has 2 versions available, an internal and an external...
...only diff I see is the external, SkyWalker-1, has a power supply and enclosure,
is that it?

I was worried about extra heat in the comp case, so was leaning to the external, but...
...if i get the internal, since it makes no connection to the slot, I could mount it outside the case, couldn't I?
And, with my own power supply,(and enclosure) I could use it just the same as the external, right?

So, I could save $23 by getting the internal, SkyWalker-2, or???

Any opinion, any comments, suggestions as to which to get, and why?

I'm thinking now, just spend the extra $23 and get the SkyWalker-1, save the hassle
