I have many years of experience in the satellite industry, but none with DVB-S2 TV Tuners. I often see a feed listed on the forum but my Manhattan RS-1933 won't scan it in. I also want to be able to view the 4:2:2 feeds.
I have done some research and narrowed my choices to the TBS 5925 and the TBS 5922.
I want to use my laptop which I why I chose a USB tuner.
It appears the main difference between these 2 models is the 5925 will tune signals up to 32 APSK, while the 5922 is limited to 8PSK. Are there any other significant features that the 5925 has over the 5922?
I am looking for a TV tuner to get my feet wet and feel the 5922 would be adequate. Would I be wasting my money buying the 5922?
I sincerely appreciate all feedback.
