Trying to listen to music channels (Galaxy 14 Music choice)
1. EBS Pro does play them but ease of operation has never been a staple with that program.
Do you have to blind scan in all the transponders every time you use this thing? It has a database somewhere but if you click on "database" all functions seem to point to deleting the database, and as of yet, I've never found a database.
After tuning in channels, this program loves classic rock. Always tunes to it. I remember this from the past. It's like some default you can't get rid of. However by using filter pid, I've learned how to circumvent this and everything plays fine on my desired channel in VLC.
At least it does play and that's a plus.
No such luck with SmartDVB. Scans em' in and signal quality bounces between zero and max with no audio. This program used to be the way to go for me with these music channels before they did the switcherooo..so if anyone's got them going please let me know.
Finally using the TBS stream reader, it scans fine, but has anyone moved the .ini output successfully into a tuner like transedit and gotten the output to tune? I have it loading into transedit in the right format, but it won't tune.
Edit: YEAAAA...got the above one to work..forgot to add new card to transedit...now I just need to find out how to modify the default output header that the TBS stream reader uses..one thing at a time.
edit: got as far as I could go...evidently DVBViewer still doesn't support multiple streams but instead has multiple excuses why they don't.
Any help is appreciated on anything..thanks
No problems with card itself.
