Here is my first take on the TBS 6903-X, Ver. 2 PCIe card (without fan) I bought from Rick. I installed the card as usual, including the supplied power cable. I also used the latest Crazycat's StreamReader.dll ver 1.2.4.99 on SmartDVB and used the "Test" Build version of CrazyScan. Using the "Test Build" version of CrazyScan eliminates the "RFScan Not Supported!" error when using CrazyScan. A quick test on 89.0°W Using SmartDVB Scanned, locked and displayed video and sound on the unencrypted frequencies 3802 V 34284 and 3880 V 29859 found on 89.0°W. However, the Blindscan took a very longtime (41mins and 15 secs) to complete. At these speeds, using this as a primary feed hunter is not ideal and I hope there will be improvements in the blindscan speeds in the near future. I primarily bought this unit as a replacement for my old TBS 6903 which wasn't getting some Frequencies; for instance 3802 V 34284 on 89.0°W and also to acquire a DVB S2X capable PCie card. My first impression is good, it would have been better if the blindscan is as a fast, if not faster than the old TBS 6903's blindscan.
