Hello. I have a PC running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 with 16 GB of Ram and a TBS 6904 DVB card and I am using EBSPro (I’ve tried multiple versions from14 all the way to 16) and am experiencing the same problem. I can scan with stream reader in EBSPro and find many signals and I have VLC, MPC and PotPlayer all installed and no matter which one I choose within about 2 seconds of video playback (for instance COSI on 103) the video stops. It doesn’t freeze the program or cause me to reboot it’s just a frozen picture. It’s as if it’s supposed to do it in the program. I can play many recorded streams on my computer which I’ve recorded with no issue on any media player. I’ve tried multiple versions of VLC (32 and 64), every possible setting I can find in google and on this forum and nothing seems to work. This is only an issue if I’m trying to preview a video in EBSPro. I’m guessing it may have something to do with the code that is placed in EBSPro when you install the players in preferences but I don’t know what could cause this no matter what player is used. Anybody have this problem? I was using the 32 bit version of Windows 7 with the exact same setup but decided to upgrade because Windows limits the ability to use your 16 GB of RAM unless you upgrade to 64 and VLC was eating all the RAM which by the way now is not happening when I use it to watch a recorded broadcast. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
