Hey guys,
I just wanted to play around a bit with CrazyScan together with the DVBSky S950C. I can't get it working properly though.
I installed all the latest stuff:
- StreamReaderEx BDA Ver: 1.1.0.1116-commited (Apr 20 2013, 22:58:53)
- CrazyScan 1.0.1.76
- BLScan2 ver.1.1.0.1115
- and required libs of course
- DVBSky PCIe driver 1.7.310.0 (2013-03-10)
Running CrazyScan one time kills the DVBSky. Seems you are doing some bad things via I2C! Afterwards, no BDA app runs any longer, not even CrazyScan. It throws the following error:
"RFScan not supported!"
I already thought I damaged my card. I have to completely shut down the PC to clear the situation. StreamReader.log with the first two CrazyScan starts is attached.
The BlindScan button is greyed and can't be pressed even when starting CrazyScan for the first time after a power-cycle. BLScan2.exe is installed though. RFScan does not give me any results. The log is just spammed with "BST_FEI2CWrite() error".
So the whole I2C implementation for DVBSky/Bestunar does not seem to be working at all.
