Looks like gstreamer has access to raspberrypi GPU
http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/releases/gst-omx/1.0.0.html
So in theory can 4:2:2 content be piped through the ffmpegcolorspace than decoded by rpi?
http://www.freedesktop.org/software/gstreamer-sdk/data/docs/latest/gst-plugins-base-plugins-0.10/gst-plugins-base-plugins-ffmpegcolorspace.html
or maybe use videoconvert?
http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/data/doc/gstreamer/head/gst-plugins-base-plugins/html/gst-plugins-base-plugins-videoconvert.html
Any beards with an rpi that can test? Or help me with the pipe from source to sink?
